Multivariate Data Analysis for Omics
Multivariate data analysis is essential in the process of distilling information from the complex data sets involved in Omics. Huge datasets are reduced to informative plots and charts, enables scientific interpretation and insight. Discover how to build valid and predictive models based on data from in vivo metabolic profiles, with the latest multivariate techniques. The course is composed of lectures, demonstrations and computer exercises in SIMCA, based on real-life Omics datasets.
The objective of this course is to show how to convert data tables and matrixes to robust and reliable models for finding potential biomarkers in complex data structures. The aim is to present easy to understand pictures and graphs for model visualization and interpretation.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
The course is intended for researchers involved in Omics and the important analysis of the data generated by single or multiple spectral instruments. No prior knowledge of statistics is assumed but some basic familiarity with the nature of spectroscopy data is required.

Please note that at some course locations you are required to bring your own computer for the exercises. Instructions on how to install the program will be included in the final course information.

Cancellations received later than two weeks before the course starts will not be refunded. For courses cancelled more than two weeks before the course starts, MKS Instruments AB will retain 10% of the course fee to cover administrative costs and the rest of the amount will be refunded.
